Getting around with tram

Tickets can be bought in most kiosks and certainly in any Pressbyrån kiosk. Single tickets can also be bought on the bus or tram in the blue mashines.

Single ticket
One ticket costs 26 SKR and is valid during 90 min. Get your ticket on the bus from the driver or at the tram from the big blue machine in the middle of the tram, pay with cash or card.

24 hour ticket (Endygnsbiljett)
Costs 85 SKR. Ride the tram or bus as many times as you like during 24 hours. Cheaper than single ticket if you ride four times or more during 24 hours.

Three day ticket
Costs 170 SKR. Ride the tram or bus as many times as you like during three days (72 hours). Cheaper than single ticket if you ride seven times or more during three days.

Rechargeable card
This is a good alternative if you are staying for a longer period and/or coming back several times. Costs 50 SEK to get the card. Then choose an amount between 100 and 1500 SEK to charge the card with. Every time you get on the bus or tram you show the card to the card reader. 20,40 SEK will be withdrawn and you can travel for 90 min. It’s like a single ticket with a discount.
