Om Simon Lind

Postdoctoral student especially interested in G protein-coupled receptors and their downstream signaling cascade. During my PhD., I worked on innate immunity focusing on GPCR signaling and activation patterns of GPCRs expressed in human neutrophil. My work generated novel concepts on GPCR activation including new allosteric modulation properties as well as discovering new biased ligands. However, my lack of knowledge in structure biology led me to apply for a postdoc at Linda Johansson’s lab which has extensive experience in GPCR structural biology. Here my goal is to bridge the gap between receptor signaling and structure biology to get a broader area of expertise.
