Occupational and Environmental Medicine

We are an integrated department with staff from Sahlgrenska University Hospital and Gothenburg University. We teach, research and investigate patients and workplaces about chemicals, environmental and air pollution, ergonomics, vibrations, noise and phycosocial work and surrounding environment.

We offer education for medical students, graduates, personnel at local health units and authorities for occupational and environmental medicine. Commission education is also offered in the fields of company health service, insurance medicine and work environment.

We investigate patients with diseases and injuries caused in working life and their surrounding environment.

On these pages you will find information about our research and our programs that provide university credits.
