6th International Conference on the History of Occupational and Environmental Health

The 6th International Conference
March 29th-31st 2017, Gothenburg, Sweden

The history of occupational and environmental medicine is rich but has largely been relegated to passing notice or ignored altogether, even by specialists in the field. Brief summaries of occupational and environmental medical history, when they are included in reviews or more rarely still in educational curricula, have a limited focus on the biographical highlights of selected clinicians and researchers who have contributed to the development of this discipline.

The conference will span over three days and includes keynote addresses by international leaders in the field, multiple panel discussions, and original abstract presentations. There will also be a pre-course half-day history methods workshop covering basic methods, archival research, oral history taking, and biographical studies.

We welcome you to Gothenburg!
