About Junmei Miao Jonasson

 Junmei is Associate Professor in Epidemiology with excellent research experience on epidemiology of chronic diseases and health behaviors based on register-linkage of Swedish registers, or large-scale cohorts from different countries. She supervises postgraduate students in Global Public Health. She has developed and beeing coordinating epidemiological courses , especially Social epidemiology, for the programs of Public Health and Global Health (MPH, MGH). She has close international collaborations with researchers from different countries.

Current ongoing research projects include: Social Epidemiological studies on different health outcomes; Epidemiological studies on the health problem among older adults.

Junmei is interested in establishing new international collaborations in epidemiological research.
