John Kopchick is a Distinguished Professor of Molecular Biology at Ohio University in Athens, USA. He is a world leader in research related to growth hormone and its receptor. His discoveries has led to the development of the longest lived mice in the world, a novel drug for the treatment of acromegaly (growth hormone excess) and improved our understanding of the metabolic action of growth hormone. He is an inspiring lecturer as indicated by his unconventional title.
